September 12, 2013 – Shat-R‐Shield® has expanded their selection of waterproof, safety-coated LEDs by adding a new R40 lamp to the product lineup. The R40 provides another waterproof LED option for customers looking to retrofit conventional incandescent and CFL lamps with a high efficiency, high performance LED alternative.
There have been numerous reports of customers experiencing premature failures when using competitors’ uncoated LED lamps in applications exposed to high humidity and corrosive environments. Shat-R-Shield’s crystal clear, non-yellowing waterproof coating provides the necessary protection against moisture that our customers need to get the full life out of their LED lamps.
